I haven’t had one problem with any caliber Fiocchi ammunition that I have ever fired. They are priced right too.

Let’s take a look back at the 1980s. We were changing loads of 2 and 3/4″ 12 gauge rounds for hard hitting dove loads, but had stuck to factory loads for duck and goose in 2&3/4″. When we went to the local sporting products store, the FIOCCHI came on the shelves. We took them home in a rush and Wow, we were getting ducks that 3″ magnum guys were hitting and then some. Fast forward to now, and those shells are a thing of legend, and all I see on YouTube is people comparing these FIOCCHI handgun loads to the cheapest Seller and Bellot. OK, the price point for FIOCCHI is still good for entry level target loads. I mean, how bad could these be compared to Federal, Winchester, and Remington target loads? Well, I started to buy this in 158 grain, just like the cheap Federal champion, but tried these 142 grain loads instead. I bought these for my daughter’s 15th birthday to go along with her Taurus Tracker with the 6.5″ muzzle brake barrel. They were intended to be target loads to compare to those of the Buffalo Bore 180 grain/300 hollow points at fps that I purchased as a gift for hunting with. In the end, she loaded these into her loaders speed and shot them in town at 30 as well as 70 yards. Excellent accuracy and these cut-off FMJs were a bit more power than that of Hornady Critical Defense and a much higher energy over those of the Federal Champion we were shooting. The target made of metal that it was hitting was an measure of how fast it was spinning than both of the other load. It doesn’t require a chrono to see that it was spinning the 30.06 rate target this quickly. We were awestruck by the power and speed for the cost. It brought back memories of goose loads being tossed against the big boys 30or more years ago. Therefore, even though they are priced in line with low-cost target loads and budgets for bargain hunters but this is a premium quality, extremely durable target load that can be used as a defense load. And if there was a lead leak, it could even be a good hunting load. If it wasn’t out of stocks, I would definitely have bought more.

The combination of bullet weight and velocity is right on with this load. One of the most accurate factory loads Ive shot. And the price is right!
